Big, bulky and with a "rugged" look. This is the Garmin Fenix 2, a watch not only intended for the world of the mountain, but that every day is getting closer to the pure multisport profile and that you can even see on the wrist of a triathlete.
The Americans have brought together the best of the Tactix and Forerunner series in the Fenix 2. They have succeeded in creating a hybrid of a watch designed for the mountains, together with a multisport GPS watch. Its distinguishing features are the many functions it offers mountain enthusiasts, a longer Ultra Trail-proof range and, thanks to the HRM-Run pulse sensor support, analysis of the run in terms of cadence, vertical oscillation and foot contact time with the ground.

The box, once opened, is dismantled into two pieces
This is what's inside the box. Garmin has managed to squeeze it all together very well
The box is quite bulky. It has some inserts on the sides, where the loading and synchronization clamp is placed
On the back you can see the connection pins for the clamp
This is our clamp, just like the original Fenix

The HRM-Run sensor differs in that white "monicker". The size is the same as the classic Garmin sensor. The strap is the Soft Premium model
