After the presentation to the media this past Wednesday of the Polar Pacer Pro I have already prepared the first video showing you the most important things you should know about the new Polar model.
Naturally this is not a complete analysis, it is still early for that. That will come in a few weeks when we have already known each other fully, but in the time we have had together the truth is that this is an interesting model for the mid-range in which it militates (and which also represents virtually the end of the Polar Vantage M2).
There is a new processor, new GPS antenna design, changes in the optical pulse sensor... in short, it is a new platform with the usual Polar software, so we will have to see how these changes suit the Pacer Pro.
In the video I cover the top 10 details you should know about the Polar Pacer Pro, which is the model that is already available and will be accompanied by the more basic Polar Pacer throughout May.
Don't forget that if you like the video, please like it because it helps a lot for YouTube to show it to other users. Don't forget to subscribe also to the YouTube channelbecause that in turn helps the rest of the videos also gain importance with YouTube's algorithm.
And what do I deal with in the video? Well, here is the table of contents separated by the different sections. If you click on any of the links it will take you directly to that part of the video, in case you are interested in a specific aspect.
00:00 - Entry
00:39 - 2x faster processor
02:36 - New, sharper screen with better colors
04:42 - Redesigned optical pulse sensor
06:14 - Includes barometric altimeter
07:39 - Running power estimation
08:36 - Shift adapter included in the box
09:57 - Changes in notifications
11:46 - New Walking Test on Polar Pacer Pro and Polar Pacer
14:15 - Comparisons with respect to the rest of the range. What does it mean for Polar Vantage M2, Polar Vantage V2 and Polar Vantage Grit X / Grit X Pro?
18:54 - Price
That's all, I'll let you have a good time watching the video and I'll get to work on the content coming next week (and on the Telegram channel offers…)
And thanks for watching the video!
Interesting video, congratulations. I have a vantage m , how does it look in size compared the pacer with the vantage m and m2?
I have a large wrist and the m is almost too small for me.
Thank you Jesus.
They are virtually identical, the M has 1mm more circumference by having a slightly wider bezel. But if you want something aesthetically larger you would have to go to the Grit X or Grit X Pro.
Hi, I have a garmin 245 music, I would like to know if it has substantial differences with it beyond the barometer. I have been using gramin for many years, and the truth is that I am interested in trying other brands for their experiences since it became a little monotonous.
There are no major differences, perhaps the main reason for switching from one to the other could be the power estimation in the race.
